Local Number Hosting
One of the most common concerns businesses have when switching phone providers is losing their existing number. If your customers know you on a 02 number, or any local NSW number, you don’t have to give it up.
Central Connect provides local number hosting and porting for businesses across the Central Coast. Whether you’re moving to a 3CX hosted system, SIP trunks, or a new NBN voice service, your existing local numbers move with you.
Local number hosting means your business phone number is held and managed on Central Connect’s voice platform. Calls made to your existing number are routed through our infrastructure to your 3CX system, SIP trunk, or hosted VoIP service, without any change to the number your customers dial.
Number porting is the one-time process of transferring your number from your current provider to Central Connect. We manage this entire process on your behalf.
Runs on any device, no proprietary hardware required
IVR, call queues, recording, video & live chat included
Fraction of the cost of legacy PBX systems
Hosted & maintained from our Wyong infrastructure
In almost all cases, no. We schedule number ports during non-business hours and test routing before the port completes. Your number remains active on your old service right up until the moment it transfers to ours.
Yes. If your business has several DDI numbers or a range block, we can port them all in a single request. We’ll advise on the most efficient way to manage the transfer for your specific number set.
We can allocate new 02 geographic numbers from our number inventory. If you’re opening a new office or want a Wyong or Central Coast local number, we can provision this for you immediately.
